SMINE Promotional Campaigns
SMINE Promotional Campaigns offer a unique promotion avenue for both the advertisers of SMINE Resources Guide and SMINE Business Portal. Periodic promotional activities shall be organized to drive public awareness, objectively to draw public attention to participate in SMINE Promotional Campaigns with fabulous prizes to be won. The prizes are mainly sponsored by the advertisers of SMINE Resources Guide and SMINE Business Portal. Sponsors shall be prominently projected throughout the duration of the campaigns whereby the name and products or services of the sponsoring company shall prominently appear on the Prize Gallery page with a linkage to more promotions in the Promotion Slot of SMINE Business Portal.
The Management reserves the absolute rights not to accept any products or services:
- that are not relevant as promotion prizes;
- where the prevailing retail prices or discounted retail prices then (throughout the promotion period) do not tally with the value of products or services sponsored in-kind or provided FREE;
- that may jeopardize the goodwill of the entire campaign.
SMINE Promotional Campaigns shall tentatively be held on a quarterly basis, respectively on January, April, July and October. The actual commencement and duration of any scheduled campaigns shall be announced or informed through our website from time to time.
SMINE Promotional Campaigns shall be driven by a series of contest. Each contest may vary on the number of “numbered” (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) prizes besides the Starter and Consolation Prizes. The placement of the prizes depends on the value of sponsored products or services based on its prevailing retail prices or discounted retail prices then (throughout the promotion period). However, the Management reserves the rights at its sole and absolute discretion to decide on the placement of the prizes including the grouping of Starter and Consolation Prizes.
Contestants shall strictly follow a standard set of Rules & Regulation of the contest which shall be spelled out by the Management and the final results for the various categories of winners are also to be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Management.
Eligibility to advertisers of SMINE RESOURCES GUIDE
Please refer to the table below for the respective advertisement placement
in SMINE Resources Guide on the eligibility of participation in SMINE Promotional
Campaigns under the part-cash-part-in-kind scheme. Participants under the part-cash-part-in-kind
scheme shall be given a FREE Promotion Slot in SMINE Business Portal.
The total value of sponsored products or services under the part-cash-part-in-kind
scheme shall be calculated according to the prevailing retail prices or discounted
retail prices then (throughout the promotion period) where it shall determine
the placement of the contest prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd and subsequent prizes).
As the sponsored products or services are specifically for promotional purposes,
it must be consumer items. Industrial products or services may not be relevant
as contest prizes for the general public.
Other advertisement placements of SMINE Resources Guide that are not eligible
for the part-cash-part-in-kind scheme can also participate in the campaigns
but the products or services meant for the contest shall be provided by the
participants for FREE and shall be limited only to Starter Prizes; and not
the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize or other subsequent prizes. The products or services
meant for the contest that are provided by the Box Listing and SMINE Resources
Guide Banner Ads advertisers shall be limited only to Consolation Prizes; and
not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize or other subsequent prizes including Starter Prizes.
Companies that are listed in the Classified Listing Section in SMINE Resources
Guide under Classified Standard Listing or Classified Highlight Listing can
also participate in the campaigns subject to at least the minimum requirement
of signing-up for the Box Listing in SMINE Resources Guide. The products or
services meant for the contest shall also be provided by the participants for
FREE and shall be limited only to Consolation Prizes; and not the 1st, 2nd,
3rd Prize or other subsequent prizes including Starter Prizes.
In any case, participants are encouraged to sign-up for the Promotion Slot
in SMINE Business Portal to further enhance the promotion of their products
or services in order to reap maximum exposure.

Eligibility for Part-Cash-Part-In-Kind Scheme of SMINE RESOURCES GUIDE
Disclaimer:
The Management reserves the rights at its sole and absolute discretion to decide
the eligibility for the qualification to the Part-Cash-Part-In-Kind scheme.
The Management is not obliged to offer the Part-Cash-Part-In-Kind scheme
even though the advertiser signs-up for any of the above-mentioned advertisement
placement and its products or services may be a consumer item that is suitable
as a contest prize.
Eligibility for advertisers of SMINE Web-Portal
Eligibility for advertisers of SMINE BUSINESS PORTAL
Companies that only sign-up for the Business Portal Banner Ads in SMINE Business
Portal can also participate in the campaigns but the products or services meant
for the competition shall be provided by the participants for FREE and shall
be limited only to Starter Prizes; and not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize or other
subsequent prizes.
Similarly, companies that only sign-up for the Promotion Slot in SMINE Business
Portal can also participate in the campaign but the products or services meant
for the contest shall be provided by the participants for FREE and shall be
limited only to Consolation Prizes; and not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize or other
subsequent prizes including Starter Prizes.
Participants are also encouraged to sign-up for the Finger Tips Standard Listing
and/or Finger Tips Preferred Listing if their nature of business is a B2C (Business-to-Consumer).
Conversely, companies that are listed only on the Business Portal Company
Profile Listing and/or Business Search Registration Listing in SMINE Business
Portal can also participate in the campaigns subject to at least the minimum
requirement of signing-up for the Box Listing in SMINE Resources Guide or signing-up
for the Business Portal Banner Ads or Promotion Slot in SMINE Business Portal.

Participants that do not qualify for Part-Cash-Part-In-Kind Scheme
Companies that do not have the relevant sponsored products or services (either
they are not consumer products or services, or they are not suitable to be
given away as prizes though they may be consumer products or services) will
not be eligible under the part-cash-part-in-kind scheme of SMINE Promotional
Campaigns. However, they may still be able to participate to a certain extent.
A certain percentage (to be absolutely and solely determined by the Management)
of the full cash payment for the advertisement placement (based on those placements
that are supposedly eligible for the part-cash-part-in-kind scheme) in SMINE
Resources Guide shall be pooled to form the Grand Prize (cash prize) or Grand
Prizes (if the pool is large enough to form 2 or more cash prizes).
These participants shall also receive the same or equivalent (at the sole
and absolute discretion of the Management) treatment, exposure and freebies
as those companies that are eligible for the part-cash-part-in-kind scheme.
The names of the sponsoring companies shall also appear on the Prize Gallery
page with a linkage to more promotions in the Promotion Slot of SMINE Business
Portal.
Drivers of SMINE PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS
SMINE Resources organizes various types of online and/or offline contest on a quarterly basis, respectively on January, April, July and October to drive the SMINE Promotional Campaigns. Simultaneously, the SMINE Affiliate Program shall be the pace-setter to drive web traffic which in-turn fuel the SMINE Promotional Campaigns. SMINE Affiliate Program is geared to arouse the interest of members of the public to participate in driving the SMINE Promotional Campaigns. In return, SMINE Affiliates shall be commissioned for directing visitors to participate in the campaign.
